I live in Virginia, and there’s a solar eclipse coming this week that has been all over the news. I went to the app store to see if I could find an app to help me track this and other solar and lunar eclipses throughout the year.

I like simplicity, and after some exploration, I landed on EclipseAR and love it.

EclipseAR is a user-friendly and practical tool for tracking solar and lunar eclipses.

It offers a pain-free experience and sucked me in right away. No annoying popups or ads, no data collected, and no need to sign up for anything at all.

The app’s intuitive interface facilitates effortless navigation, ensuring users can swiftly access the necessary information without distractions.

I manually set my location using the built-in global map to track the events in my local area.

EclipseAR's main screen is a calendar with upcoming solar and lunar eclipses. A quick scan informs me about events that will be visible in my area.

EclipseAR’s minimalist design is perfect for me because I hate busy apps.

It prioritizes functionality without sacrificing aesthetic appeal. By clearly presenting the information I need, EclipseAR ensures that users can get the details of upcoming eclipses without wading through visual clutter.

EclipseAR excels as a solar and lunar eclipse calendar.

With its intuitive interface, personalized location settings, and minimalist design, the app offers a seamless experience that empowers users to stay informed about celestial events with ease.

Whether tracking a solar eclipse visible in their area or planning for an upcoming lunar eclipse, EclipseAR is an indispensable tool for anyone interested in observing a solar or lunar eclipse.

EclipseAR is available for download from the Apple Store or Google Play.

Get it right now so you’re ready for the upcoming eclipse!

Don’t forget kids: looking directly at the sun is bad! ☀️
