U.S. Presidential Elections Have Sucked Since 2008

That’s when I realized how crazy everyone is becoming.

I’m not sure when I created a Facebook account, but it was prior to 2008.

I’m one of those old weirdo’s that prefers to keep my thoughts on politics and religion to myself.

During the months leading up to the election of Obama, I was stunned to see some of the posts from my coworkers, friends, and associates.

It has only gotten worse every election cycle since.

Now we are stuck having to choose between an incumbent that is reported to be widely despised and a contender that should have retired from public life 10 years ago.

By the way, what Republican President hasn’t been widely despised by the media and Hollywood? Remember Rock Against Reagan? I do.

Now the algorithms and datasets are even larger than they were back in 2008. We are spoon fed information that we will consume, in order for the platforms to make money, and we think what we are seeing is news.

Division

We all have to get into a camp, or there are extremists that will call us out for not being in a camp.
