This is 100%. I've got a few drafts of something very similar that I'll now delete. Basically along the lines of "What I wish I'd know before heading out on my own." It's a job, and it can suck at times, and the comfort of steady employment is, well...comforting. But the big but it this, once you get a taste, it's hard to go back. Yes, you will work your ass off. Yes, it's a job. Yes, if you fail you will need to pick yourself back up. But when you get it right one time--you're done. There is no going back because you will be a horrible employee. Freedom ain't free. :-)
