The Photography business is a perfect side hustle, blog niche, or SaaS opportunity. How do I know this to be true? Two things: several close friends are amateur photographers and are doing very well, and common sense and a little research points to sustainable market demand.
There is a seasonal aspect, but for the most part there is opportunity year round: people have babies and want pics, people get married (sometimes before they have the baby!), Real Estate photography. A bottomless well of possibilities for those of you with a camera and some artistic skills.
Niche market research is a hobby of mine (yes, I’m weird and need a life). Here are a few photography niche key phrases with average monthly Google volume, competition across domains, Cost Per Click (Google Ads) and difficulty (how hard is it to land on SERP1).
