You know as well as I do that meetings are often a waste of time. Not that the content is bad, but that many meetings are rendered ineffective because of bad meeting people.

Watch watchers, laptop readers, and phone scrollers drive me insane during meetings. If you have something better to do, then go do it.
Close your laptop and turn your phone face down, check these during breaks or after the meeting.
Look at the person speaking, and listen to what is being said.
