Your article is timely for sure, I was thinking about all this over the weekend. Most of my affiliate work is done with Twitter and Substack now, skipping the domain purchase/hosting/WordPress route.

But the big BUT is de-platforming -> "controversial" topics (that shift with the breeze) put you at risk of disappearing overnight.
