I spend a lot of time writing content that's fairly technical in nature. It's helpful to some, but mostly ignored.

Then one day I cranked out a quick post on my blog related to a hobby of mine and it caught on fire. I ended up creating an entirely different blog that monetized way beyond my expectations.

Insanely difficult to predict what will resonate with a large audience, that hasn't already been beaten to death.
