I followed all the how-to's and it was insanely frustrating. Not just on Medium but blogging in general. Then one day I just said "Fark it" and let me fingers to the walking. Formula's cause everyone to sound like everyone else, and no one wants to read it.

I fell into the trap of writing a few "hey now, here's how you make bank on Medium" once the dollars started rolling in, but how many times can you say, or read, the same thing.
